Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong has shown his weak side for love on the set of his upcoming TV series, “City Conquest.”
On Thursday, KEYEAST unleashed a picture capturing a romantic moment of Kim and actress Jung Yu-mi who were hugging each other during the shooting of the drama.
The black and white image delivers a strong emotional connection between Baek Mir [played by Kim] and the love of his life, Lee Dan-bi [played by Jung].
Officials said Kim was praised by the staffs for depicting delicate onscreen romance and perfect harmony with Jung on the set.
In "City Conquest," which goes around the story of the struggling orphan Baek Mir, the Hallyu star will reveal his wildness while playing both action sequences and pure love scenes.
After finalizing its negotiations with local broadcasting firms, the officials noted they will announce on which channel "City Conquest" will air during the latter half of the year.

The two were seen hugging each other tightly in a scene for the drama "City Conquest".
This scene was taken in Japan and the touching moment between Baek Miru (Kim Hyun-joong) and Lee Dan-bi (Jeong Yoo-mi) was expressed so beautifully.
All in all, the drama tensed up due to the hug and the emotions and seriousness of the situation can be seen through his face. This brings out the curiosity in those who are just dying to see the drama. The situation was one where they had to suddenly bring out their emotions after having run a while but Kim Hyun-joong managed to tear up and the two worked well together.
Apparently all staff were satisfied by their repeated efforts to create a complete scene.
Meanwhile, "City Conquest" stars Nam Goong-min, Kim Seung-woo, Kim Yeong-ho, Park Hyo-joon, Kim Hee-won, Choi Cheol-ho and others.

Choi Cheol ho to work alongside Kim Hyun joong "City Conquest"
Choi Cheol-ho is set to star in the drama "City Conquest" which boasts Hallyu singer Kim Hyun-joong as the lead.
In the comic-turned-drama about a son who seeks vengeance on those who brought his family to ruins, Choi will play one of the villains who Kim must battle.
The show is set to be a hit; even before it went into production, the program's rights were sold to four markets in Asia.
Simply by having his name on the show, Kim has already made 118 million won ($9,986,254) for his production company.
Written by Shin Hyung-bin, the original comic has been in print since 1996 and its 270 issues have sold more than 10 million copies to date.

There's one thing not many K-Pop fans do and many might not know is possible to do unless you're really part of a fandom: visit an artist's restaurant. Many have started businesses around Seoul; often they are partners or their relative owns the restaurant. The most popular is probably JYJ Junsu's parents' pizza place Misarang, but there are definitely more. As an exchange student in Seoul at the moment, I will visit some of these restaurants, check out prices and describe the easiest way to get there.
The first restaurant to introduce is Jaksal Chicken. It is owned by SS501's Kim Hyun Joong and is located very close to Seokchon station on the pink line number 8. He actually owns another one, bigger and on the other end of Seoul in Ilsan, but today we will just start with Jaksal.
To go there, take the pink line number 8 and get off at Seokchon station. Depending on where you are in Seoul, it could take more than half an hour to get there. Also I would suggest going during the early afternoon and try to take the train back early, since Seoul's subways tend to be very crowded during the evening hours.
When you arrive at the station, follow the signs and go to exit number 7. From there, go straight until you get to the first side street. It's big so you won't miss it. Go straight again for around 50 meters and you'll see it on the left side on a corner to another side street.
You might be surprised to face a pretty small restaurant, one of those you see on Korea's streets a lot. There's a small tent outside with plastic chairs and tables, and inside, maybe enough space for 20 customers.
The menu is not huge, mostly variations of chicken, like garlic chicken, spicy chicken, etc. with a salad. But there is more to it as well; Ddokbokki is also on the menu as well as Budaejjigae. Prices go up to around 17,000 won, but the menu is made up of dishes fit for two, so you might want to make sure to go with a friend which makes it a) more fun to be there, b) cheaper and c) you'll probably finish the whole dish.
If you're not sure about what to order and are not fluent in Korean, one of the waiters working at the place speaks very good English and is quite nice, so don't hesitate to talk to him.
My friend and I decided to go with the Budaejjigae, which is basically a stew, with sausage, noodles, vegetables, fishcake, dumplings and a lot more in it. You get the hot pot on your table and finish cooking it there. It was 16,000 won and was actually pretty satisfying.
I must also say, I would not have expected it to be as delicious as it was, since I assume they will get customers anyway, because Kim Hyun Joong's name is attached to it and his face is plastered all over the place, but I have definitely tasted way worse budaejjigae since coming to Korea two months ago.
If you are not a fan but are around this area, it's a cheap place to get very good food with a nice atmosphere. And if you are a fan, then definitely go there. Most of the fans probably go to the bigger one in Ilsan, so this is a quiet place to enjoy the food and look around at the pictures of Kim Hyun Joong hanging there without being intrusive.

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong has wrapped up his activities overseas.
Kim Hyun Joong who is becoming increasingly more popular across Asia has wrapped up his 7 months of promoting overseas with a final stage in Japan on August 10th.
Launching his ‘Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting Tour 2012′ this past May, the singer traveled to Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and more to create unforgettable memories with his fans.
It’s definitely been a fruitful year, as the singer’s second single album “Heat” released in July hit the #1 spot on the Oricon Chart, has been certified Gold by the Record Industry Association of Japan, and became the #1 most downloaded MP3 on Amazon Japan.

TVXQ!, Kim Hyun-joong achieve gold status in Japan with latest singles

Top K-pop acts TVXQ! and Kim Hyun-joong have achieved gold status in Japan after selling more than 100,000 copies their latest singles.
TVXQ!’s 11th Japanese single “Android” and Kim Hyun-joong’s second Japanese single “HEAT” have both achieved the gold status after moving a big number of over 100,000 albums, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan's (RIAJ) July report.
The success of both records was predictable, as they easily moved over 100,000 records in just a week after the album’s release.
TVXQ!'s latest single "Android" scored the No. 1 spot on Oricon's weekly singles chart after moving 152,000 copies since going on sale on July 11.
Kim has also registered high sales of around 183,000 copies in just a week after the album went on sale on July 4, Oricon's website showed.
Meanwhile, TVXQ!'s DVD titled "TOHOSHINKI LIVE TOUR 2012 TONE" has also reached gold status according to RIAJ’s July report.
The DVD was released in Japan on July 25 and topped Oricon's weekly DVD chart after selling over 151,000 copies during the first week of sales.
TVXQ! and Kim Hyun-joong are handful of artists that are receiving overwhelming popularity in both Korea and Japan.
The two stars have been breaking numerous records which have been built by themselves or former Hallyu stars on Oricon’s chart.
