Singer Kim Hyun Joong has recently released some pictures of a rehearsal for his concert in Japan.
On February 5, Key East, Kim’s agency, announced that Kim is going to meet around 20,000 fans in Japan at his concert, “Premium Live 2012,” which takes place at Yokohama Arena in the evening, to celebrate his first Japanese debut album.
At “Premium Live,” Kim is planning to perform the title song of his Japanese debut album, “Kiss Kiss,” and his hit songs such as “Lucky Guy,” “Breakdown,” “One More Time,” and “Thank You.” He is also expecting to interact with his fans through a conversation time.
On February 3, ahead of his concert, he did a rehearsal at Yokohama Arena and checked everything needed for his concert, from sound to his movements on the stage.
It’s been reported that he surprised the crew members by focusing on the rehearsal as if it was a real concert.
Kim says, “I appreciate all of my fans who gave me interest and love for my Japanese debut album. I want to provide the best performance to everyone who comes to my concert.”
Kim released his first and second mini album and total three digital single albums in Korea as a solo singer last year. Successfully debuting as a solo singer, his albums have been a big hit.
Debuting in Japan on January 25, he has entered the top three on Oricon Charts. On the day of the release of his first album in Japan, he made the best record in album sales of overseas artists, according to Oricon, and has sold over 100,000 copies in a week.
